Save some money and stock up with these great prices!! I will often purchase oranges from aldi as they are by far the cheapest I have found at $1.49 for 4 lbs (about 9 oranges). I’m going to stock up at the end of the week to jumpstart my juice fast! I’m also going to grab some lemons as well as some avocados for the kids.

Romaine is the “king of crisp,” a perennial salad bowl favorite. Originally called cos from the Arabic word for lettuce (and still is, especially in Britain), romaine is believed to have originated on the Aegean island of Cos nearly 5,000 years ago. Romaine is actually a French word; legend has it that this lettuce was named for the Romans, who cultivated it for food and medicinal properties.
Romaine’s long, green leaves and sturdy, pale ribs make it the perfect lettuce for just about any salad, alone or in a mix. It’s robust enough to support delicious fruits and vegetables flawlessly, and it stands up to bold or creamy dressings with ease.

My favorite orange juice RECIPE HERE
I usually have all the ingredients on hand either fresh or frozen. So I make this smoothie at least a few times a week. Today I made it with frozen banana, frozen blueberries (I stock up at the market and freeze), Kale was from the market a few days ago and I had one coconut left. Today I added chia seeds, I love em and haven’t had em in quite a while. And dates are a must
This is still my favorite Raw Salad! Was a wonderful Dinner!

Orange season is just around the corner and we are going to be seeing some great deals on this luscious fruit! I usually shop aldi for oranges and avocado as I tend to buy these items non organic anyway and aldi usually has the best price.
There is just a few days left of this great sale! I plan to purchase a ton and then make this wonderful Fennel Salad for a get together today with some nursing friends.
